West Campus Commons Opens!

It’s official: the doors of the new West Campus Commons are open. Students returned in January to the first addition to student housing in nearly 25 years. The massive, 110,000 square foot facility is primed to be a home away from home for a new generation of students. Situated on the west side of campus, WCC overlooks a new student recreational park offering additional outdoor activities within a short walk. The twin-building residence life complex, holds the distinction of the largest construction project in the University’s history. The two buildings, East and West Halls, house 524 beds and are coupled by a two-story “Community Connector” featuring a large gathering and gaming space on the first floor, while study space is designated for the second floor.
